Owned & Operated by Mark and Emily Kniep

Black Cat Stables is a small private horse boarding facility where your horses are treated like our own.  Our goal is to create a friendly and fun spot to ride and spend time with like minded people.  We want horse owners who are engaged and actively participating in the care of their horses.

Black Cat Stables was founded by Mark and Emily Kniep.  Emily has owned horses for 30+ years.  Riding in Ehcapa as a teenager and attending an equestrian college has given her a wealth of horsemanship knowledge.  

Mark is the brains of the farming operation, keeping things in working order and safe for the horses.

Prices

All prices are per horse per month unless indicated otherwise

All boarding options include:

Daily stall and run cleaning, Hay 3x per day in slow feeder nets, Supplements/grain 2x per day (owner provided and prepared), weekly rotating turnout, blanketing, fly masks, water heaters in the winter, trailer parking - 1 trailer per boarder

Board Price: $400

• Option 1: 12x12 Enclosed Stall with 12x60 Outdoor Run (Main Barn Stalls)

• Option 2: 12x16 Enclosed Stall with minimum 12x40 Outdoor Run (Shed Row Stalls)

• Option 3: 12x12 Shelter in a 35x35 Drylot

Hay Options

• 100% Alfalfa (Grown on site): Included in base price.
• 50% Alfalfa, 50% Grass: $60
• 100% Grass: $120

Bedding $80/month

Board is invoiced monthly, and Payable to Black Cat Stables
