Our Half Training and Full-Training programs are for horse owners or lessees. This typically entails a combination of lessons and professional schooling rides each week. This program includes turnouts and lunges, maintenance grooming (i.e. mane pulling and show clipping), standing for vet calls, chiropractic, and masseuse visits, medication administration.

Training is due by the 15th of each month. Payable to Burk Equestrian.
We offer a lesson program where we strive to build a solid foundation. Lesson horses are available for an additional $10 per lesson. Along with riding we teach all aspects of horsemanship including barn management and overall care.

Lesson packages are billed monthly. Payment is due before the new package starts. Payable to Burk Equestrian.
There is a flat commission rate of 10% of sales, purchases and leases. Minimum: $2,000
Trainer Per Diem: $100/day Ada County
Trainer Per Diem: $150/day outside of Ada County
This applies when the trainer is required to travel in the pursuit of the purchase or lease of a horse outside of Ada County. Fifty percent (50%) of total per diem will be credited to the commission of the sale, purchase, or lease if the transaction is completed at the end of the trip. The per diem is not applicable when the trainer and/or client tries the horse at a horse show which they are competing.
Payment is due at the consummation of transaction. Payable to Burk Equestrian.
